Biology

Biology A-level will give you the skills to make connections and associations with all living things around you. Being such a broad topic, you’re bound to find a specific area of interest, plus it opens the door to a fantastic range of interesting careers. Biology is fundamentally an experimental subject and this course provides numerous opportunities to use practical experiences to link theory to reality and equip you with the essential practical skills you need. A-Level Biology will lead on well to further education courses such as Biology, Midwifery, Sports Science or Medicine.

Chemistry

A-Level Chemistry will give you an exciting insight into the contemporary world of chemistry. It covers a range of different contexts, conveying the excitement of contemporary chemistry. This combination of academic challenge, relevant context and practical focus makes the prospect of studying A-Level Chemistry highly appealing.

You will learn about chemistry in a range of different contexts and the impact it has on industry and many aspects of everyday life. You will learn to investigate and solve problems in a range of contexts.

Physics

Physics is crucial to understanding the world around us, the world inside us, and the world beyond us. It is the most basic and fundamental science. Physics challenges our imaginations with concepts like relativity and string theory, and it leads to great discoveries, like computers and lasers, that lead to technologies which change our lives – from healing joints, to curing cancer, to developing sustainable energy solutions.
