Online learning
Students have access to various online learning platforms to enhance and extend their knowledge at both a subject level and across many different topics, at times convenient to them. By accessing educational content digitally students can complete a range of lessons or tasks in either groups or working independently. Students are provided with additional tools and resources to support and enhance their classroom learning.
Students are reminded that when using these educational platforms as well as other online social media application, that they do so observing the strictest of online safety guidance. All students should align themselves with positive, healthy and respectful relationships online and understand how their online actions may impact others. Students should also be able to recognise disrespectful behaviour online and feel confident in report this to a parent or member of our staff team. Students are taught through the Academy curriculum how to use technology safely and responsibly, as well as how to secure their personal information online.
