Junior maths challenge 2020
On Wednesday 2nd July, 102 students from year 7 and 8 participated in the first ever online Junior Maths Challenge. Students were given 1 hour to answer 25 multiple choice problem solving questions.
The maths department are delighted to announce the student’s achieved the following awards: 2 Golds, 3 Silvers and 13 Bronze awards. This was an amazing achievement by not only these students but all students who participated in the challenge. Please see below for a list of students with their associated reward:
Y8:
Gold award – Ben Silver
Silver award – Alex Stansilawski-Hunt and Oliver Chapman
Bronze award – Ryan Broomfield, Oliver Ward, Joseph Hall, Niamh de Sarre and Ben Munslow
Y7:
Gold award - Joseph Gibson
Silver award – Jazz Braithwaite
Bronze award – Lalila Rick, Hugh Fox Goodard, Toby Lambert, Lola Cranidge, Rudy Pounder, Theo Hoult, Olivia Mansfield and Erin Fitzpatrick
Special congratulations to Ben Silver who achieved Best in School.
