Amazing end to the season for the Year 8 Netball Team
An amazing finish to the season for the year 8 girls. Having a few changes in the squad meant that team work had to be spot on in the tournament. The squad of 10 went to counties knowing they could do very well. With grit and determination they showed how to play some great netball up and down the court as well as supporting each other throughout the play.
It was a good group round winning all but one game, scoring 28 goals and only one team managing to put any past us.
Into the semi finals we went knocking West Bridgford school out of the finals. Top 4 for a second year in a row. With all efforts in the final game, going ahead twice Carlton Le Willows managed to to turn the centre pass over on 2 occasions on both.
Amazing play by an amazing squad. Well done girls.
